FREE ENTRY TO THE NEXT RACE FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS!
This is our sixth year at Hampton Court Palace but the first time we have hosted a 10k race and we would love for you to come and join us. We are looking for volunteers to come and help at one of the UK’s most popular tourist destinations.
As you will know, a happy and cheerful marshal along the course can make that last few miles just that little bit easier.
Events like this cannot be put on without the help and support of the local community, so we are inviting you down to get involved and make the third Palace Half a successful and enjoyable day for all.
Race Marshals
This role involves you marshalling runners on the course. We will be having a briefing just before the event so everyone knows their positions. So don’t worry if you don’t know the area perfectly. This role would suit someone who has experience running races and knows the feeling you get when you’re a little tired and need a pick me up mid race.
Information and Event Village Marshals
We need confident and proactive volunteers to help in our race village at Hampton Court Palace Green, to give people directions to where they need to be and help at our informational desks. We will again be having a briefing before the event where you will be told the ins and outs of the event in case you have any concerns. This role is for someone who wants to meet and chat with other people at the event.
